Project Cars 2
Project Cars 2 is an upcoming motorsport racing simulator video game developed by Slightly Mad Studios. It is published and distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game has received some really solid reviews and is therefore being touted as the ‘racing fans’ from the different racing games to be released this year. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on September 22nd 2017. It will be for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and also Xbox One.
The game will compose of 182 cars from 38 manufacturers and a variety of car and race car classes. Also the largest track roster on console (as of 2017) with 46 tracks containing 121 layouts, the majority being laser scanned circuits. Most noteworthy, a new time and weather system have been included in-game. And this can allow multiple different changing weather conditions and changes within a given season (winter, spring, summer, autumn). Also online mode has been developed with a focus on e-sports. As a result this brings an online ranking system, online championships and better functionality in matchmaking. In addition, Project Cars 2 also supports virtual reality (VR), up to 12K resolution and triple screen support.
You can find out some more information on the game and order at http://www.projectcarsgame.com and you can also watch a developer interview with Stephen Vilojen (Game Director) at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksLMqG5Vj2c. Enjoy it!

Gamescom 2017
For us European Gamers, one of the most noteworthy events of the year has to be Gamescom. Therefore Mahyar and I were in attendance for 3 days this year and were blessed with amazing weather and lots of meetings with new potential clients. And when the doors finally opened for the public there were record numbers of people all queuing up to try their hands on some of the latest games being released this year.
Cologne is a friendly and welcoming city and they played host to the biggest Gamescom thus far. It was set over almost 200,000 meters squared, 919 exhibitors, and therefore attracted 30,700 trade visitors and 350,000 visitors.
Although there wasn’t much breaking games news in terms of new games unveiled, we did get to see a couple get engaged on the Bandai Namco stage. There was an unbelievable amount of cos-players with some stunning costumes. And also some hands-on time with some new VR titles coming out in 2018.
Such a great event. Next up; games news from the Tokyo Game Show 😉
