Shadow Tactics: Blades of The Shogun
Shadow Tactics: BOTS is an upcoming stealth-oriented real-time tactics video game, with gameplay similar to that of the Commandos and Desperados series. The game has been previously released on Steam and has received generally favourable reviews with a Metacritic score of 85/100. The game is now scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on July 28th.
The game’s setting is based on Japan’s Edo period. A new shogun has unified Japan after years of war, but now a mysterious new warlord named Kage-sama has emerged, jeopardising the country’s stability. The player commands a squad of up to five characters and must infiltrate heavily guarded enemy compounds. Each enemy guard has a cone of vision which the player characters must evade. The environments in this game are more detailed and interactive than the environments of the Commandos games and they are also rendered in complete 3D, which means the camera can be rotated freely.
You can find out some more information on the game and order at http://www.shadow-tactics.com/ and you can also watch a gameplay video of the game at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz6sE8SDgio. Enjoy!

Develop 2017 – the conference
Since 2006 the Develop Conference in Brighton has been bringing together the Game Dev. Community in a 3-day event that included over 30 stands, more than 80 speakers and an outstanding awards ceremony with over 26 industry related awards.
We were lucky enough to spend 2 whole days meeting many of the industry’s leading studio heads, catching up with some of the leading companies on their recruitment needs and to attend the awards ceremony as a nominee for best recruiter.
Congratulations to all the winners on awards night and we are eagerly anticipating the announcement of some really exciting projects coming up that we are currently starting recruiting campaigns for. As with all things; mum’s the word for now, but we are very excited for the next 12 months.
