We are working with a leading force in the gaming industry. They are growing fast, developing their games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series S/X. They are looking for an experienced Animator with technical ability, to work on their existing titles and planned upcoming projects. Leading and working with the character and animation team, you’ll be integral to the vision of their games, bringing characters into their world that help immerse their players in their experience, and shaping the simulations to satisfy their high-quality requirements.
• Produce animations as needed by interpreting the intention of the Production/ Design team as well as art leads.
• Character Rigging and Skinning capabilities.
• Be able to quickly prototype animation systems such as working with state machines and blend spaces that will serve as a basis for animation- and gameplay-related discussions.
• Apply animation principles to create high-quality character and vehicle animations while optimizing them to meet technical constraints.
• Develop and evolve pipelines for efficiently, getting animation from 3D tools such as 3DS Max, Maya into UE4 engine technologies and continuously improve character rigs and pipelines to reduce time from concept to game ready assets.
